Abstract:
Chemical reactions induced by the absorption of light are at the basis of many biologically and chemically relevant functions. Time-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy with ultrashort UV and XUV pulses offers the right tools to investigate non-adiabatic dynamics, which typically evolve on ultrafast timescales (10- 100 fs). In this talk, I will introduce our recently developed beamlines for investigating excited-state dynamics in organic compounds with temporal resolution ranging from sub-20 fs down to few-femtosecond.
